Tour Plan

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes

Pick-up from your hotel in Casablanca and depart for Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Explore its top landmarks, including the Hassan Tower, Chellah, and Kasbah of the Udayas. Continue to Meknes, the Ismailian imperial city, where you’ll see the famous Bab Mansour gate, Bou Inania Madrasa, and other 17th-century monuments. Visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, then arrive in Fes for dinner and overnight at a traditional riad or hotel.

Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Begin the day exploring Fes, including the Jewish Quarter (Mellah) and the Royal Palace courtyard. Depart for the Middle Atlas Mountains to Ifrane, Morocco’s “Switzerland,” then stop at Azrou to visit the cedar forest and its monkeys. Enjoy lunch in Midelt, and continue through the scenic Tizi n Talghamt mountain pass and Ziz Valley, famous for its volcanic rock formations. Drive past Erfoud and Rissani before arriving at Merzouga. Ride camels to a desert camp, watch the sunset over the dunes, enjoy dinner, and spend the night under the Sahara stars.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Todgha Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake early to witness a stunning desert sunrise. After breakfast, drive to Rissani and visit the famous local souk (open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday) to shop for souvenirs. Continue to Erfoud, known for fossilized marble, and then explore the dramatic Todgha Gorges, a Moroccan “Grand Canyon.” Enjoy lunch before traveling to the Dades Valley, where you’ll spend the night in a cozy local riad.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, explore the Dades Valley and the surrounding landscapes. Continue through the Valley of Roses, Skoura’s palm groves, and the famous “Road of 1,000 Kasbahs”.
