Tour Plan

Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

Upon your arrival in Tangier, your driver will greet you and begin the journey south. Pass through the beautiful city of Tetouan, known for its whitewashed streets and Mediterranean charm. Continue to Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue Pearl” of Morocco nestled in the Rif Mountains. Wander through its peaceful blue-painted alleys, relax in Plaza Uta el-Hammam, and enjoy mint tea in a charming riad where you’ll spend the night.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, drive through the lush landscapes of the Rif and Middle Atlas Mountains toward Volubilis, the well-preserved Roman ruins and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Meknes, the former imperial capital of Sultan Moulay Ismail, and explore landmarks such as Bab Mansour Gate and El Hedim Square. By evening, arrive in Fes, where you’ll check into your riad or hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Fes Guided Tour

Today is dedicated to exploring Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, one of the oldest universities in the world, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the vibrant Chouara Tannery. Stroll through the narrow alleys of the medina, filled with craft workshops, spice shops, and traditional souks. Spend the night in Fes, soaking in its authentic charm.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

Leave Fes after breakfast and drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and in Azrou to see the famous cedar forest and its wild monkeys. Continue through Midelt for lunch, then follow the scenic Ziz Valley with its palm groves and mountain gorges. By evening, reach Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, for dinner and overnight at your desert hotel.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert Exploration & Camel Trek

Today is dedicated to the magic of the Sahara. Visit the village of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa musicians, and meet local nomad families. In the afternoon, begin your camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset over the desert. Spend the night in a luxury Berber camp, enjoying dinner, music, and a peaceful night under the stars.

Day 6: Merzouga – Todgha Gorges – Dades Valley

Wake up early to admire the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes before breakfast. Then drive to the Todgha Gorges, a spectacular canyon with towering rock walls perfect for walking and photography. Continue through the scenic Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and ancient kasbahs. Overnight in a charming riad or hotel in the valley.

Day 7: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, journey along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through Kalaat M’Gouna (the Valley of Roses) and Skoura Oasis. Stop in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” and visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed fortress famous for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue over the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass before arriving in Marrakech for the night.

Day 8: Marrakech City Tour

Spend the day exploring the vibrant Red City with a local guide. Visit the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque, and the colorful Majorelle Garden. Wander through the lively Jemaa el-Fna Square, filled with snake charmers, storytellers, and street food vendors. Overnight in a traditional riad or hotel.

Day 9: Day Trip to Essaouira

Enjoy a day trip to Essaouira, a charming coastal town with European-style architecture, blue fishing boats, and relaxing beaches. Visit the historic port, the Skala fortress, and the medina — a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the afternoon, return to Marrakech for your final evening in Morocco.

Day 10: Marrakech – Airport Transfer

After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to Marrakech Airport for your departure flight. This marks the end of your 10-day Morocco journey filled with unforgettable memories and authentic experiences.
